Quick start
Five minutes, five steps. By the end you’ll have a working AI voice agent you can talk to from your browser. No phone number or credit card required for the simulation step.
1. Create your account
1Head to xenithintelligence.com/registerand sign up with your work email. You’ll verify the email with a one-time link, then land on the dashboard.
New workspaces start with $5 in trial creditso you can place simulation calls without entering payment details. Real phone calls require additional paid credits — see step 3.
2. Create your first agent
2From the dashboard, click Agents in the sidebar, then New agent. Give it a name (e.g. “Front desk”) and paste a short system prompt describing how it should behave.
A good starter prompt looks like:
You are the front-desk assistant for Acme Dental.
Greet callers, answer basic questions about opening
hours (Mon-Fri 9-5), and offer to book an appointment.
Keep answers under 2 sentences. If you can't help,
take a message.Pick a voice from the dropdown — click the preview button to hear samples. Leave the LLM and latency settings on the defaults for now; you can tune them later.
3. Top up credits (optional for simulation)
3To place real phone calls, open Billing and click Top up. The minimum is $5. Payments go through Stripe — we never see your card details.
Calls are metered per second against your credit balance. A typical agent call costs roughly 10–15 cents per minute end-to-end. See Billing & credits for the full breakdown.
4. Simulate a call from your browser
4Open your agent, click Test call, and allow microphone access when the browser prompts you. Speak naturally — the agent will respond in real time, just like on a phone line.
When you hang up, the transcript, audio recording, and cost breakdown appear in the Calls view within a few seconds. Simulation calls are billed at a discounted rate.
5. Connect a phone number (when you’re ready)
5Bring your own Twilio or Vonage number. In Phone numbers click Import, paste your credentials, and bind the number to your agent for inbound calls. For outbound campaigns, use the same screen to trigger calls via API.
